Thanks cclarry! How do you find this stuff so quick? I own the entire Mixbus setup and plugs and have not heard anything about it yet. Regardless, Thanks for the update. Kind regards, Rick

Thanks Larry I got an email form them. Already downloaded and installed. Not sure if the update has effected me much yet. I have had the ocassional crash when trying to save sessions under a different name. I hope they have fixed that but there is a workaround anyway. Not sure about XT-BS Bass though. I have usually got more bass than I can handle! Might be interesting. I am mastering a nice Jazz album right now in Mixbus and it is sounding sweet.

Interesting, I did the DL and install but I get this weird msg at the bottom of the Session Control screen. <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC"-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> If I click on the ! icon it sends me to the Harrison site but tells me nothing about what is going on. If I try to open an existing session it tries to start the audio engine and then Win 7 64 puts up a msg that Mixbus has stopped working and forces me to close it... Then I get a Win 7 64 msg saying Jack server for windows has stopped and forces me to close it... Bat Poop. To late to mess with it tonight...

No problems with the install this end at all. I have been having some issues in the past with saving under a different name and saving snapshots and this has been causing crashes for me on a fairly regular basis but the good news is with this update I think all that has all gone now! I can save under any name and under any snapshot name and it all works like a treat and recalls all perfectly too. So I am a happy camper this end. I swithched this mastering over to Studio One for a little while but now that I have got some of the tracks back in Mixbus all I can say is how sweet it sounds. I have got all the Harrison plugins now (except the new bass thingy) and they are all great. Highly recommended! For mastering I am using the Tokyo Labs compressor though for this one and Pultec EQ (Third party install) and it is all sounding very nice in conjunction with a touch of channel, buss and master EQ on top. Love the way that Master LO-Mid EQ just clears up any build up around 200 to 300Hz with just one tweak of a knob!

Thanks for the reply Jeff, I happy to hear it is working well on your end. I just noticed that before it crashes it does say trying to configure midi ports??? I can get it to open if I create a New session but it will not open my old sessions for some reason. Will get it sorted eventually. Kind regards, Rick

Actually Rick I did notice that 2.4 did not open a previous session very well though. I had just started the mastering project and had completed a Mixbus session in the previous version. I noticed it did not open it well either in 2.4. Some things were there like the limiter but other things were either not or incorrect. I found it was not a big deal as I just started from scratch with a new 2.4 session and reset things and all has been well since. Not sure what that is about. This might be an issue for a big complex mix on the previous version not sure, because I only do minimal things like either master stereo mixes or just mix stems. But the crashing thing for me saving under different names or using the snapshots seems to have been fixed.

After a good nights sleep and a system cold boot everything seems to be working fine in Mixbus now... I still need to contact Harrison as to why I am not getting the update emails.

Ben from Harrison got me fixed up in a hurry. Have everything I need now, except the new Bass plugin. Was going to purchase but I think I should probably wait for a future sale price.

+1 As good as it may be, $106 is a bit steep for me. I'd love to have it for $49.
