Mixdown speed/pitch

I have Sonar 3.1.1 and using Aardvark Q10 (amd via chipset)

Everything works fine until mixdown to wav or MP3. The speed/pitch is faster and higher.

Anyone having this problem...I need a fix.

Thanks,
Jeff

One of two possible problems comes to mind. Double check that you have selected 44.1 KHz and 16 bit as the export values. Sound blaster cards are internally 48KHz and often mess up such results.

Through what are you playing it back so as to hear it faster and higher?

    Thanks NYSR for the reply.............

the problem still exists when I export at any sample rate/bit rate. It raises the KEY of the song two steps (in this case from G to A) As though I used the "transpose" function of Sonar.

I use Aardvark Q10 sound card on an AMD (via chipset) computer. This is the first trial run on this computer. I "did-not" have this problem using Sonar 3 on my P4 computer. The Via chipset on this AMD may be the problem.

Please let me know of any other suggestions/fixes to try.

    Thanks,
    Jeff
