Mixed 2 Acoustic/Country/Rock? tracks

I got them as "artist-mixed". I didn't write them nor did I sing on them. I just remixed them.

It's too bad the vocals weren't mic'd a bit better. The guitars also lack a lot of body as they were recorded direct. I did the best I knew how to do.

    I listened to the 1st one. I like the singer. The mix is a little bass heavy in my proline 650s though.

    Yeah, I'll have a listen to it again today. I always get the bass slightly off when I'm mixing due to ear fatigue, and I think my monitors skew the bass because they are not entirely flat, so I have to constantly juggle between exporting the audio and listening to it on other devices to get the bass correct :/
