Mixing And Mastering Quick Reference Guides

Hi everyone.

Since 2000 I have been collecting data on 'how to mix/master' and think that what I'm about to share with y'all will do you a world of good when trying to reach for that 'special something' in your recordings.  I posted a link to 2 of the documents in here and I can't believe it, but over 500 people have downloaded them!  So, without further ado, here's the rest of my arsenal.

Mixing and Mastering Techniques - Quick Reference Materials

NOTE:  Some of the articles have (obviously) been scooped from hither and thither.  Should anyone note any particular article that could be an infringement on its author, (which I really can't determine at this point) let me know and I'll pull it.

Spread this to the gang here on SONAR.

God bless,

Martin Barret

Wow.... that would take some time to read through it all.

OK...I'll admit I'm lazy as all get out when it comes to certain things.... but one of these days I plan to update my website... really I do..... would you mind if I linked to your site? That is, when I finally get off my butt and do it.

Hey Bret:  Have been here for a while under the postings The_Retrofits - just decided to go with my name as the band is no longer.

Thanks for your compliments.  You can hear more of our stuff (well, snippets anyway) here:

I would love to see this as some sort of sticky in the technique forum so we don't have to keep bumping it. I'm just getting started on the readings, but so far this looks to be an excellent resource.
