Mixing Console

Had to post this here...I'm green with envy...one of my friends just got one of these...bass tard...LOL

I would say a fool and his money are easily parted but I know little about this particular console, or indeed consoles in general and how much they cost but I really hope his studio is in the business of making (lots of) money and he's not just a home enthusiast like myself, if he is the latter then I stand by my first statement

That SSL console is the real deal... but it's way beyond the scope/needs of most home studios.
If you want SSL front-end, you can get a (single) channel-strip for ~$1200.
