Hey SongCraft!

I live in Norway and Coopers are only sold here as a home brew kit - and I don't have the patience Looks like that site only sends to the US? Unfortunately, with the paranoid and restrictive no-no government of Norway I doubt anyone would be alowed to send alchohol over the border without 1: paying a ridiculous amount in taxes and 2: being a licensed distributor.

But thanks for the link anyway, I will do some research and see if it's possible. If not, I'll visit the US and spend my time in recordshops when not in pubs drinking Coopers Pale Ale

Well one way for CW to get rid of the riffraff is get rid of all the beer drinkers and only allow fine wine drinkers to post.

only wine drinkers? heck I'm more equal opportunities when it comes to booze... wine , beer, JD

besides the Aussie's ship us over the not so good wine and keep the good stuff for themselves.. that came from an Australian who I used to know, she found it funny anyway. so dunno about the "fine" bit.. I guess you mean the 2 for $5 sort ?

Oh and Props to Webbs Hill Studio - Little Creatures is a VERY NICE beer!
http://www.littlecreatures.com.au/

Another Aussie brand to look out for is James Squire - I love the Amber Ale, but the IPA gets a lot of attention.
They also do a Porter and a Pilsner.
http://www.jamessquire.com.au/

And last but not least. A beer that my Grandfather used to drink.
Im not much of a Stout drinker, but this beeer is great.. Southwark Old Stout!!
Southwark Old Stout

Oh and YES. VB tastes like pee.. So does Tooheys New!!! 90% of beer drinkers drink this crapola.. 100% of these beer drinkers have NO clue at what a good beer is..

Question:

How the hell to PTLE users get by with only 32 audio tracks (voices)

This really concerns me.. I will hope fully be going to school soon working with HD.. But will need PTLE at home to get my hands dirty.. How do I get by with only that many audio tracks?

48 tracks with one of the extra tool-kits. Check Digidesign's site. (I'm not too familiar with LE as I only use HD).

Btw, is it me or is the forum being monitored and managed more closely recently? I think that is a good thing but I'm wondering if they are not keeping a close eye for anyone posting leaked Sonar 8 info... (like happened last year).

Err Robby , talk about apples and oranges .. I googled your scotch and it looks mighty fine .. but I am not a scotch drinker, the closest I get to anything scotch is the tape i use for wrapping presents

as far as schlitz, Dixie, pabst, etc I got spoiled to european stuff, German hefe-weisen, dunkels, lagers, and Belgian http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belgian_beer but there are a lots of American Micros/regionals, such as Shiner, Sam Adams, and a bunch I will never get down here

and to get back to guidelines I will drink a beer when I operate Sonar , but only one beer , because if more than one I will think my playing live and quantitzation are excellent until the next mornings playback

John that is funny LOL!! When you read the title of this this it's like, yeah!! Too many have gotten so darn pissed lately

.....seems to happen at this time of year

That picture of Coopers? I chose that because I liked the pic. I too prefer the red.

I've got to give Little Creatures a shot!

Honestly! These days I don't drink much beer for health reasons (one 6 pack can last me up to 4 weeks and I mostly enjoy beer in summer), actually a doc said a glass of red wine a day is OK! I like something from the Barossa Valley, SA (Australia) usually I like a Shiraz (not too dry, not too sweet) or Cabernet Sauvignon.

I'm a home brewer, I've made some of the best beer you've never tasted! But it's not on my diet. For blood sugar reasons, I need to stay very low carb... My best homebrews were, get ready...

1. A pumpkin porter, made with real "fresh" pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, etc... It sounds gross, but believe me, it was AWESOME!

2. A maple syrup beer, made with real maple syrup. Again, it sounds gross, but keep in mind, the process of making beer involves the yeast metabolizing the sugar in to alcohol. So for the most part? The maple syrup turns to alcohol? There’s just a hint left over, like honey beers (very popular). I would give one to people and say, here, try this? MAN That’s great! Really? Do you taste any specific strong flavors? No, it’s just really good! And then I’d tell them, it’s made with maple syrup! And they would taste it again, and then the light bulb goes off! Oh yeah! Then they taste it :-)

Good times, homebrewers make the best beer! I still whip up a batch now and then, and have a kegging system, a laagering fridge, etc. I just can’t do it because I can’t help but drink it because it’s so damn good!

Cool place, great beer, and all James Squire (Well I don't think they had anything else there... I'll have to check next time I'm there..)
