Moment Of Truth

This is a tune I pulled out of mothballs due to some local interest...
It features my good buddy Richard Burke on Vocals... he also wrote the lyrics in memory of our late bandmate Willie Akridge...  the music was co-writtin with former rock star, Robbie Gay...

Yet another nice one Frank. Lovely full sound on this and it really moves along. Richard's got a great voice, like a smoother Graham Parker.

Definitely a tune worth pulling back out, and, as always, the performances, production and mix are just perfect.

mmmmmmmm......................although the lead voice is coming out of both l and r channels, it seems as if (well, in my opinion) that the harmony voices were separated too much from the lead vocal that actually was coming out of center.

Nice mix other than that, except I thought the harmony voices could be closer to the lead vocal in it.

    Frank,
I really enjoyed this, as I do most all of your songs.
You had some tasty, tasty, slide and some scream'n lead on this as well.

This is really a dynamite song!  Fantastic songwriting, playing and vocals, and the production and mix are absolutely stellar.

Excellent work, as usual, Frank.  Have a good one, buddy!

It sounds really good on my laptop, I'm sure the mix is pristine. It's not on my favorites list from you however. But that is only because you set the bar so high with previous offerings. It has an "I'm your vehicle baby" vibe (Ides of March) vibe.

    Hi Frank,

Cool song and it sounds great on my laptop! Love the slide and the horns. I like the singer's voice, too.

The mix sounds totally pro. My only crit would be that both the piano and guitar get louder during the solo and seem to be competing with each other. Could just be my laptop, though

    Great stuff.

Frank, I want the bass guitar to have a little less boom (stepping on the kick, IMO) and teeny tiny little bit of clack.

Just my personal preference. Great song Frank.
