Momentary Forum Strangeness
About 130 CDT, I just finished another company's finding and development cost analysis. I hit the coffee house link and got this very weird windows log in screen - not the forum log in. More like the kind of log in when you are getting a link for something you purchased from the cake store. I could not log in with my id. It said something like "you are not authorized to edit this...." Never seen that before. De de de dum
Some people call me Maurice SPLAT Pro lifetime, ADK 6 core 3.6Ghz with 32 GB RAM, SSD 1TB system drive, 3 3TB regular drives for samples, recordings and misc. Behringer X Touch, UAD Apollo Quad. 2 UAD2 Quads PCI (i think - inside the box whatever that is), Console 1. More guitars (40??) and synths (hard and soft) than talent. Zendrum!!!

Yep... got it too. Yesterday, the entire Cake site went down for a little while too. Something about maintenance. Maybe they're upgrading their anti-spam forum software. (though, I really do need to know more about ripping dvds for my ipod... or not) - zevo

there have been many "down times" in the last few days. I don't know if the server is crashing or if they are updating the software or what.

IIRC this forum software becomes glitchy if the database nears 2 gigs or so. They maybe need to cull some old stuff. Could be something else too, ofcourse. Let's all be supportive, and stop posting.
