You can tell the veterans who have dealt with things before, know they'll happen again but keep a level head and go on. Some, of course, are just dumb and should have never happened in the first place!

So who is the king of guitar twirls?
I seem to recall Billy Idol's guitarist (Steve Stevens?) actually pulling it off on the MTV videos. From these 'fail' videos, it seems like a rare art to succeed at.

I enjoyed that moment around 4:22 where people take turns walking up to the guitarist and whacking him in the head. I also was highly entertained by the guy who accidentally threw his guitar backstage and then stood around wondering what he should do next.
