Nice movement, Wook.  It changed enough to keep me through the whole tune.  Not all of this music does that for me.  Merry Christmas!

Hey Wookie I see you are into the Korg Wavestation. (Plugin or real thing although the plugin sounds absolutely the same as the real thing in fact slightly better!) The Wavestation is one hell of an instrument.

I have been getting into the Roland JD800 a lot recently. This thing is in a serious class of its own for complex textured sounds. At this stage there is no plugin for it only the real deal but if you ever can get your hands on one you will be quite impressed. It is one if not the best Roland hardware synth I think I have every heard and played. (I have had them all) And the weird thing is that it is an all digital machine yet the analog patches are breath taking. For editing sounds on the fly though there is no equivalent.

NI Prism is also in a class of its own if you are after some unusual and very complex sounds too. Space Drone that comes free with the the Reaktor 5 player is also amazing. Dronos is also very good for building the drone part of the sound.

Listen to the ambient master Brian Eno especially around Ambient 4 On Land, The Pearl and The Apollo Moon Missions to hear what incredible ambient textures can sound like.

    Specs i5-2500K 3.5 Ghz - 8 Gb RAM - Win 7 64 bit - ATI Radeon HD6900 Series - RME PCI HDSP9632 - Steinberg Midex 8 Midi interface - Faderport 8- Studio One V4 - iMac 2.5Ghz Core i5 - Sierra 10.12.6 - Focusrite Clarett thunderbolt interface

    Thank you Frank, awesome eh

Jeff thanks for the listen, the Wavestation and the M1 are the plugins which are great as you get all the expansion cards as well.  I have an O5R/w which I like a lot.  I will have a listen to your suggestions, I have heard some of Eno's work with Fripp.

Thanks for having a listen Jan and the comment.

    Janet thank you, most kind.

    Hi,

Not sure about the long intro but it 'livened up' and held my attention from the 1.30 mark.   I agree with Scotty on the bells.

    Regards,

    Vincent.

    Hi John,

Your music is always a treat especially through headphones, I can really immerse myself in it. This does have a slightly Christmassy Prokofiev feeling about it with the bells..very nice indeed.

Might be my new favourite of yours.
