More on automation

The only automation I've really used before is velocity and the mod wheel (volume in GPO) in PRV for MIDI and volume and pan in track view for audio.  Can someone suggest the best, most efficient way to learn more about automation (RTFM, tuts online etc). My preference would be a video tut but I'll do whatever y'all suggest.  Thanks very much,  Randy

never seen that video before, scott,i like that, very nice, that video isnt like a typical recycled video you see thats been done already, automation is very important for fine tunning gain staging fragments(thats just one thing).
this video is wicked helpful in many ways.
