...and most people eat too fast. It takes time for the stomach to inform the brains that it's full. During that delay an average truck driver eats another days portion. If you know you'll have to eat in a hurry, short lunch time or something, you should decide in advance that you only eat a very reasonable portion energywise, leave yourself a little bit hungry.
Very likely thirty minutes after the meal you're not hungry anymore.

see my post in the skinny thread.
My family and friends tend to pile the plate so full it's about to fall off and they have to hold it from underneath to carry it without getting their fingers in the food..... and that's only the first plate full.
There is usually at least 2 plates involved in each and every meal....... plus dessert.
Ughhhh, I would die.

Before I ended up with the ding dang chemotherapy for the bone cancer I was down to about 225lbs from a previous high of 335lbs.....today, after the nightmare that thankfully killed off my cancer I now weigh...155lbs....when I was in the throes of that misery it was near 135lbs.
I think it taught me a lesson..

I am have changed the way I eat and what I eat, but it was only good for 2o pounds. I don't seem to go below that weight. According to the charts I'm over weight for my height, but I don't look big. Sometimes I wonder about those charts.

I once exchanged glances over breakfast with an obese Scotsman.
I think he was about to introduce himself, but I instinctively struck up a conversation with a Spanish waiter called Brian in order to avoid him.
I think he got the message.
That was the last glance we exchanged all week, although I did overhear him tell his wife that I was probably a little clammy in and around my novelty latex codpiece.
Even that was made in Hong Kong.
