A "Virtual" virtual synth. You play it by controlling a character who plays the virtual synth. Kind of like World of World of Warcraft.

It does have that EWQL ring to the title.

So what's extra in the 'Gold' edition?

    OK then,

How about the David Van Day and Timmy Mallet auto harmonizator.

Guaranteed to remove any shred of coolness from your tracks. Complete with bonus Jordan and Peter Andre mode.

it's an easy thing to pick on the hoff when I want to wind up my friend in Germany.. that or Scooter anyway . Hoff sold shed loads of records in Germany.

although thankfully his music is far removed from either.

    Jon.. you mean the infamous

it hurts my ears!!! make it stop!!! nooooo!!!!

Mr Van Day.. hhmm after what he did with regard to the whole "bucks fizz" thing... he doesn't come across as a very nice person.. Dollar.. 1 or 2 songs? no wonder he was trying to use the bucks fizz name since they were better.

Rosanne singing.... + jordan etc.. jeez maybe I might have a hope of selling some records with my bad voice..haha

Yes "Drunk Mode" is really something special, just take it easy on the cheeseburger knob, it can make a real mess of your track. LOL

    +1

Drunk Mode with the 'Leather One Piece' wrapper takes into another dimension too.

You can often play into the strengths of Overdriving the Cheeseburger knob by doubling up with the Jim Steinman 'Subtle Orchestral Hits' library which of course adds the tonal colour of playing in thick banks of fog generated by overuse of a smoke machine.

For the final cherry on the top, a must have is the 'Little Feat Quarter Note Cowbell' emulator. Now Sonar users REALLY needn't 'Fear the Reaper'!

Be warned though, this combination is guaranteed to give you cult status in Germany AND Japan!

no list of ridiculous plugins would be complete without the "dead quietenator":

    http://www.sonicfinger.com/DeadQuietenator.html

    and the virtual studio visitor:

    http://www.sonicfinger.com/VSV.html

but personally, i eschew such software-based wizardry for the real thing - the Moogerfooger MF-4'33", which generates pure warm analog silence:

    http://createdigitalmusic.com/2005/04/01/0401-new-moogerfooger-guitar-effect-generates-analog-silence/

just plug in that annoying visitor or keyboard player and you're good to go.
