Mountain Daredevils come to the Ozarks.

I knew the Daredevils prior to being the Daredevils. Went to college with those guys.

I saw them in like '70 at the Teenage Fair. Blew me away.

I think that's where I first nicked the Am bass note.

My band opened up for them at a club called the Metro in Phoenix, Az around 1988. My Mom and her husband came to the gig to meet my new girlfriend (my wife of 22 years now). The look on my Moms face when Jim Dandy came roaring onstage, waist length long hair flying around and screaming like a madman is still one of the funniest moments of my life. Her and her husband lasted maybe 3 songs, and I think that was just to be polite.
