Mouse wheel in Console View controls faders, pan, gain knobs

Mouse wheel in Console View controls faders, pan, gain knobs:
Is there any way to turn off this feature?
I like to work in Console View with track view visible in the top half of the screen.
I like to use the mouse wheel to scroll the Console view between effects and faders.
Every now and then I accidently change one of the faders or pan pots,  usually without knowing, when trying to scroll.
It needs to have either an "off" switch or the requirement to hold in a certain key when you want the mouse wheel to change the knob.
Anybody else or is it just me?
