Movie night: Fat Man and Little Boy

I've read a bunch about it so the movie was sort of a easy recap.

I was surprised to learn that one short episode in the movie was inspired by a real life event that I was unfamiliar with.

The implication of the sequence led me to search Google which led me to this amazing true story:

Anyways...

best regards,

There were a couple such incidents at the Manhatten Project. And a few more since then as well. What makes it hard is that both incidents were completely avoidable and were due to human error.

    Good movie.

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.
