Moving Multiple Tracks at Once

Bringing in audio and re-arranging the order of the tracks is almost a daily event for a mixer. WHY on earth can't we move multiple tracks at once? Why can't I select all my drum tracks and slide them up before my whatever tracks without having to do it one at a time, or put them all in a folder?

This is software design 101 Cakey baby. ;-)

Can't you put all your drum tracks in a drum folder and move the folder containing all of them?

Other than the putting tracks in a folder work around, has this issue ever been addressed?  or is it even considered an issue?     I am running into a situation for the first time where I'd like to be able to re-order tracks on a mass scale and it would be super sweet to be able to move multiple tracks at once.

Yes this would be great if we could move multiple tracks at once , and also once the track/s are moved the audio output also moves automatically in line with the new track position .
