Moving Sonar and music project to another PC

Folks,

I am in the middle of a CD project and I need more power and memory so I want to move everything to a new PC with 1G memory. Ok, I'm planning to install Sonar on the new PC and move my music projects over to the new PC. That's the easy part.
Now, I have Waves plugins and sometimes create my own presets. Any suggestions what I should do for that?

Anybody done this ... and are there any other things I might have overlooked?

Anton

Well, you will have to reauthorize the Waves plugs with Waves and make sure you copy the preset folder after you install the WAves plugs.

The Waves support could have told you this too. Did you ask them?

Make a preset and name it something unique. Then you can use window find files to find the location.

I am not sure if this will work for waves.
