Moving UVI Soundbanks?
Anyone done this? Mine are sitting in Program Files on C and I would rather move them to my sample drive. The player seems to have the ability to add folders to its search path so I am thinking I could simply move them and add the new folder to the search path. Any horror stories before I go ahead and try.

I have all of my purchased UVI soundbanks located in: C:\Users\Primary\Documents\UVISoundBanks (which I added to the search list). Works great. Never had a problem.

Just move them where you want them, then, under "Settings", which is the little "Gear" icon in the center top on the right, point it to that location for the Libraries under "Soundbanks"

I'm not at my DAW, but I can tell you that I have a number of UVI libraries all residing on my D drive, while the associated software (Falcon) is on the C drive. I can't recall what I did to make that happen, but I know there were no problems or even head-scratching when setting all that up.

Thanks, all nice and easy! I have also removed my old Submersable content, it seems everything was migrated to Drumcore 4 so the originals stuff is not needed. Now if I can find out how to move the Drumcore content from C without screwing things up I will be back in control.

I'm always surprised when I see folks who keep their sound libraries on their C: drive. Don't they add considerably to the size -- especially for system drive/partition backups? You must not have many UVI soundbanks. Or are you just using junction points and keeping the sounds elsewhere? I have over 70GB (of UVI alone), so it makes sense for me to have them on a dedicated samples drive.

I've got a single 2 TB hard drive in a 4.5 year old Dell XPS 8500. My next DAW will have 2 or more drives. I was using it for work, but since I no longer have to work for a living, I restarted with music. What started out simple has become complex, but straightening that out will have to wait. The last thing I want to do is start messing with a working active disk partition. Edit: I have only 22.3 GB of UVI soundbanks. Ha!
