Mp3 Encoder has stopped working

How do I get it to function again. I thought I bought a license for this when i purchased Sonar X3?
 
"Mp3 encoder must be unlocked before use..."

    I just found this MP3 encoder in the FAQ area of the Cakewalk store under "top downloads".
     
    Here is what it says:

    Comment: This seems contradictory... All I am trying to do is export my song to an mp3 file like I have been doing for many months.
     
    I get the message that my encoder has stopped working. This is odd because a friend of mine bought Sonar X3 Studio about a month and a half ago and I noticed his mp3 encoder has stopped working also. My mp3 encoder has been working for over 4 months. What is up with this?

    So I bought the encoder and installed it and it did not even ask for the activation code... Like the code (a code) was already in my registry... :(
