Multi lane midi nuge bug! X1d (since before X1d as well) and workaround

Here's one to look out for. Here's the recipe: 1 Midi track with say 3 lanes of midi, show layers, use the K button to 'mute' the top two midi lanes. double click the bottom clip to open the piano roll view. Hit 'View' located in the piano roll view and the click the option to hide muted clips. Now lasso some of the midi notes in the piano roll view. (the one clip not muted) Then use 1,3,7,9 to nudge with the various nudge settings. The result: The midi is cut from the un-muted clip (actually disappears from the piano roll view) and is pasted into the above midi clip that is one of the ones you muted. Apparently the only work around is to only nudge on the top midi lane. Took a little while to figure out the recipe. I seemed random at first. I was determined to get customer service to duplicate! :)

Thats because when I nudge any midi notes (even in different tracks) if any of the notes overlapp or bump into other notes the nudge feature won't work right.

I look at nudge as nudgeing clips not notes (no bumping into others)

This doesn't have anything to do with notes bumping, simply a bug.

You don't even need to go through all those steps to get that kind of bug, it happens to me so much  I don't even use nudge in the PRV.

With the drum map and tracks open in the PRV you get even more screwy things going on.
You'll get notes turning red in the drum map and disappearing.  Notes coming out of nowhere all of a sudden etc...  You just have to lock them there clips down so you don't screw up the whole darn project.
