MultiDock Redraw on Multi-Display Sytem

Hey guys.

I am using a 40" Samsung HiDef for my main monitor and I have a little HannsG 192D 19" for my multidock. Whenever I restore X1 from a minimized state the MultiDock comes back up completely wrong as if the program can't recall its previous window position, which it should be able to do. It only is a couple inches high and does not reach all the way across the little HannsG. I was just wondering if anybody knows a workaround, or if this is a reported bug. It drives me nuts... Thanks ahead of time.

Have you got all the updates installed? There were some issues with the multidock drawing properly in the early incarnations although not all experienced it. It may be peculiar to some graphics cards.

The other thing to check is that you don't have a locked screenset. If you do any changes you make such as maximising the multidock won't be remembered for the next time you open it - although reinstating from minimised shouldn't be affected by that.

    Thanks FBB...

My specs will show you I have a pretty badass graphics card. I have build 255 on X1B.

Thanks for the heads up on the locked screenset ( I know how you hate those :) No, I am talking about simple minimizing/restore - no changes at all. Is this the first time you've heard of this. Did I find my first bug?

Looks like this is not a common problem...

So, after a little research I saw someone else had a problem similar to mine and discovered that it is a problem where if you created the template in X1, or X1A, you may have redraw problems. I guess I will need to start a fresh normal template with all new screensets which will take a couple of hours to test this in X1b build 255. We'll see...

You're probably onto something there because right on cue I've just had exactly the same problem. It is with an old project that I revisited to re-mix and the browser started hogging the focus in my multidock.

First time I've seen that sort of thing with SS and it isn't happening in more recent projects so the old template theory may be correct. Let us know how you get on with the changes.
