Multi-Dock Woes

Hi,
Has anyone figured out a "reliable" method of restoring the Console View, once the Multi-Dock has been closed?
Know what I mean? If you inadvertently close the Multi-Dock (by clicking the red X or some other means) while the Console View was the only thing in it, it becomes VERY difficult to restore the D-key toggle of the Track View/Console View.
In the help files, it says that by default, the Console View is placed in the Multi-Dock. Fine. But if you accidentally close the Multi-Dock in the "wrong way", you lose the Multi-Dock altogether. Until you open another editor like the Piano Roll or whatever. BUT, I still can't figure out how to put the Console View BACK INTO THE MULTI-DOCK after that point.
Seems like a phenomenon that would have been improved long ago...
Thanks!
P.S. Mr. Anderton  asked what would improve Sonar or DAWs in general. I think making the Console and/or the Multi-Dock always available would be brilliant, myself. The little module control arrows and options in the corners of the modules, like the Inspector and the Browser? Those are ALWAYS available. But if you "close" the Multi-Dock, they disappear from the right corners of the Multi-Dock module and I can no longer access any of the options.

Suggestions?
Thanks!
EDIT: I'm aware of the Alt-1 and Alt-2 commands. But they only give separate full screen solutions. I have dual monitors and I need the console to just take up the 2nd monitor and not both, as the Atl-2 command does (after the said closing problem)

If you're not consciously using screensets then by default you're using Screenset 1
Typing 1 on the top row will re-invoke the stored layout for screenset 1

To make it persist, get your layout the way you want and lock the screenset.

I had a problem similar to this last week I couldn't get my transport to show and my mixer wouldn't stay open when i switched projects or closed Sonar and reopened. It was "Lenses" that was the cause up in the top right. somehow it changed and I don't know if it changed by me hitting the keyboard or if I clicked something.

    Jonesey, you rule!
Duhh, I'd forgotten about the screenset thing!
Though I still think an update to have the Console NOT be able to lock itself out of the Multi-Dock would be great.
    Thanks!!!

Rant: MDI was done, proven and worked.
    Nobody was complaining.
