Multi-client ASIO actually works?!

Why hasn't anyone told me that multiclient ASIO is a reality? How have I missed this? I've been manipulating DAW's for years. I'm dumfounded that I can share I/O simutaniusely between two running DAW applications. (Protools 9 & Sonar X1 in my case.) Not unused I/O but the same actual ports, With stability on top of that. Add MTC sync & you have the best of both worlds. I'm kicking myself here http://youtu.be/Ougex591jxY?hd=1
