Multiple Surfaces

I have a Behringer BCF-2000 that I've been using for years on Sonar 8 and now X2.

I've recently purchased a Behringer-X32 which I can also use to control Sonar.

I've tried setting up both at once (different MIDI ports etc), but they don't act independently.  I.E. move a fader on one surface and the other follows.  Even if I do a 'Move surface to' (right click on the left of the track view) to separate them, they still work together.

It would be nice to use one of them to control busses whilst using the other for tracks etc.

Any ideas?

It's a bug.  You can configure multiple "ACT MIDI Controller" devices, but they constantly trip over one another.

Cake confirmed the bug as  CWBRN - 4210 and then archived the report (I guess the couldn't be bothered) and then asked me to retest after X1b.  It was not fixed, so I opened a new report, which they closed as a duplicate of my original report.

Short answer: It's a bug and they are not interested in fixing it.

Don't ask the question if you cannot live with the answer.
