    It did sound cool, I think it also had one of those fret key-switch units for a neck.

    I saw that too whatever day it was on  - I thought it was a cool toy and very nearly posted the same question here, but decided against it in fear of ridicule by the resident bass player got distracted before I got around to it. I think it might be a custom thing, but the top bit looked much like one of these...... Misa digital kitara

    It's not clear what he meant but in actuality it uses linux to provide the basic OS to run the software from to enable it to work.
     
    I'm guessing that's what he meant, although it tells you that much if you look at the details provided on Paulo's link.
     
    Maybe he thought we couldn't have understood that much without his guidance.

    Awesome peice of work. I've heard of Muse several times. I'm going to have to see them now. Does the Kaos pad have it's own synth built in or is it a soft synth?
