Music Creator 2 Problem - Urgent!

Hi, everyone!

I have a problem: I've been laying down some tracks with original music using a Yamaha YPT-300 (a cheapie model) with Music Creator 2. Everything sounds fine except the track that I inserted using the Piano voice on the keyboard. It doesn't blend in with the rest of the keyboards "voices." In other words, it doesn't seem to be integrating with the composition but sounds superimposed. It sounds ridiculous! I originally created the track as an audio track; later my boyfriend recreated the track as a Midi track. The results were the same with both versions.

My question is this: Are there any MC-2 features or recording tricks that would allow me to have a smoother sound?

    This might seem too obvious, like you probably already tried it...but check the volume and pan levels of all of the tracks, and also check the levels at the busses out, or output channels, some times you can choose different output groups, depending on your soundcard. That is all I got, maybe some one else can come up with a better answer.

    I'm not really following what your actual problem is. Can you try to explain it to me in a different way, or maybe post a portion of it on soundclick or something so that I can hear what you're talking about?
