Music Creator 2003 and Asio4all question.

Can someone tell me how to set up asio4all in music creator 2003?

I downloaded and installed it now I don't know what to do. I ran the wave profiler in Music Creator 2003 and it didn't change anything.

My pc specs are in my signature.

thanks in advance.

MC2003 is pretty old and may not have exactly the same menu options, but I'll point you in the direction and you may have to imporvise on the exact menu options.

don't run the wave profiler - that's for MME and WDM mode.  after you've unzipped and installed ASIO4ALL, change the driver mode in MC to ASIO.  in MC3 and above it's in OPTIONS>AUDIO or OPTIONS>AUDIO>ADVANCED

you'll need to chnage it to ASIO then close and restart MC.

    AMD Sempron™ 3300+ Processor (64-bit)

I don't think any version of MC is 64-bit compatible.

at least the newer versions (MC5 only maybe) will run on 64bit machine in 32bit mode, tho.

in the audio options advanced tab for mc2003 there is no asio setting, there isn't an asio listing in the help index.

I was thinking that might be the case.  ASIO wasn't supported for MC2003.  you'll have to upgrade to MC5 for that capability.

I just looked; MC Pro 24 came out after MC 2003, and it lists ASIO support as one of the new features of Music Creator.

    Larry, do you have MC3 and/or GT3?

I just answered your (almost identical) GT3-related question over in the Guitar Tracks forum: http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.aspx?high=&m=2075441&mpage=1#2076099
