Music Creator 2-Question

I have owned Music Creator 2 for a long time. I have imported audio and want to record voice in the audio.

I play the audio and then record my voice. When I play it back in MC 2, the voice is there. When I export and and encode to a mp3, there is no voice recording with the audio.

Thanks
Rob

What were your export settings? Did you have the necessary tracks (or nothing at all) selected? I'm sure MC exports what you tell it to export, there are no hidden tricks in it.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

The audio is in the track and then I play and hit the red arm(record) to voice over and the voice along with imported audio is there when I play. I then export and encode, the original imported audio is there but no recording(voice).

    Hopefully this explains it better.

When you export you need to double click the tracks. If you click on a track it turns a darker color to let you know you have selected that track. Simply (right) click a few times in rapid succession until ALL the tracks are selected.

Also be sure none of them are muted or in solo unless you specifically want them to be. When you select EXPORT AUDIO from the FILE menu, look in the box and you will see a preset tab...choose WHAT YOU HEAR, then click OK after setting the destination for the file.

This assures that ALL the tracks are selected and the export will export what you hear on play back, including all automation and FX.

On occasion, I will export a track, or tracks and get only part of it because a track with split slips in it has to be selected in such a way as to highlight all the clips in that track.

    Hope this helps you.

I tried but still unsuccessful. When I click on the original audio, the import is there. The record 1 is white. I keep double clicking the right and left mouse and no luck, to get both.

Also when I choose export audio there is NO preset tab..what you hear.
    I'm a newbie.

    Thanks\
