Music Creator 4 special effect.

Hi
 
I'm using Music Creator 4 and I'm having a problem patching in Midi special effects... When I attempt to add an effect I keep getting the message "There was a problem patching in the effect" ...Does anyone know why please?

    I never use the midi FX .... 

    In MC 4,  you have 2 tracks associated with a midi instrument... the midi source track, which you record and also shows the data, and the audio track with the synth. 

    Try placing AUDIO FX into the FX bin in the audio track with the synth. That will work better.

    Guitarhacker's assuming you're using soft synths. Are you? Or are you using the Microsoft GS Wavetable synth? Or a MIDI keyboard's synth? Or a MIDI sound module? What effect in particular are you refering to?
    What is your Operating System and is it 64-bit?
