Music Creator 5 Exporting Issues

Our songs we recorded would earlier play back fine, but now we can't hear them at all. We tried to export them but couldn't succeed there and after that couldn't hear any sound. We have Music Creator 5 with Sonar Duo Capture Audio Interface. We use Vista 32 bit computer. We think maybe re-installing Music Creator 5? The actual song won't play back -it does absolutely nothing at all now. thanks so very much for helping....Katy

    By 'won't playback', do you mean the timeline moves but you don't hear anything, or do you mean the timeline refuses to move at all?
    The first thing to check when something like this happens are the settings under Options>Audio.
    Make sure the Duo Capture is still selected as the Playback and Recording Timing Masters and that it's drivers are still selected under the Drivers tab. Deselect anything else.
    In each track, make sure that they have valid outputs selected, either a bus that's going to the Duo Capture or to the DC itself.
    Did you get the MC 5 update since you installed MC 5?
    Are you getting any error messages?

    Katy.... Welcome...

    Actually some more information would be really helpful. 

    Computer specs, the operating system, and very important...what sound card you are using.

    Also are the tracks midi or are they audio or a combination of both. 

    Did you apply the free update that Cake has posted on this website to MC5? 

    Answers to these will help us figure out what is possibly going on. Reinstalling is usually not the answer to the problems.
