Music Creator 5 and Windows 7

I have just bought Music Creator 5 and after a number of attempts it will not install correctly.  The program installs but is not all there notably the toolbar only loads the Options and Help tabs and when I click on the Options tab it takes me to Help tab and the Options tab disappears. I am using windows 7, any ideas?

    is w7 32 or 64bit?
    that sounds really strange.

try closing mc5 and reboot. then before you start mc
again.... try starting it by right clicking the icon and
select the Run As Administrator.... and see if that makes
    any difference.
