Music Creator 6: ASIO Audio Inputs Not Detected

So for the longest time I've been using a Behringer UCA-222 sound card with my Xenyx 502 mixer (in ASIO with ASIO4ALL) and it's worked flawlessly up until now.  For seemingly no reason, the "USB Audio Codec" does not appear on the inputs list and I can't choose from left, right, or stereo.

Recently I ordered a Cakewalk VS-20 audio interface/control surface, but ran into trouble setting it up on my cluttered desk, so I went back to using the Behringer mixer.  The problem is that last night it still worked perfectly, and now it just won't.  I was considering that perhaps the VS-20 caused some conflict but I honestly have no idea why it would suddenly change when it was working just as well the previous night.  Everything is connected just as it was last night.

Even stranger is that I tried it in Sonar LE 4 and it worked just as it did.  So the problem is specifically with MC6.

If anyone could assist in this, I'd very much appreciate it.

EDIT: Just discovered that my speakers were somehow disabled in the ASIO panel.  Restarting it worked.  Sorry for wasting everyone's time with this. ^^;

    If the VS-20 uses real ASIO drivers and not MME wrapped in ASIO4ALL, that would be the better option however, I think it's necessary to remove A4A from the computer first...

    A4A is a "temporary fix" until one gets an interface which supports the native ASIO drivers.  (IMHO)

    Yeah, the VS-20 uses ASIO, which is one of several reasons why I got it.  The only reason I got the UCA-222 was because it was the best thing I could get for the budget, and I figured something was better than nothing. XP - Thankfully, now that I've managed to save up for something with built-in ASIO support, I can uninstall that.  I never intended it to be permanent.
