Music Creator 6 + Behringer U-PHORIA UM2 = Problem

Hi folks

I am writing on behalf of my girlfriend regarding a problem with Music Creator 6.
Previously she could record vocals fine using the standard procedure of recording, but after getting a new mic and Behringer U-PHORIA UM2, it makes the recording robotic using the mme driver setting. When applying a different driver (like ASIO), she doesn't have the option to record.

Is the Behringer U-PHORIA UM2 not compatible with MC6? She went through the tutorial and everything without luck.

Thanks in advance.

MME usually requires a very large buffer setting.

The ASIO specification only permits one audio driver for I/O at a time. To use ASIO, disable the current input and output settings, the device should be available (assuming it has an ASIO driver).

Thanks. Would you mind telling me how to find the input/output settings?

From the main menu Edit > Preferences > Audio the Device section sets which devices are available based on the Driver Mode setting in the "Playback and Recording" section, the Driver Settings section is where to adjust sample rate and the buffers for driver modes other than ASIO. ASIO uses a client supplied by the hardware manufacturer.
