I have the original EZD. It works in MC7. One difference between MC6 and MC7 is MC7 ships as both a 32bit and 64bit DAW. The Command Center installs the version appropriate for the OS. So when running a 64bit OS, the Command Center installs the 64bit version of MC7. If you were using EZD in MC6 on 64 bit Windows you can either - force an installation of 32bit MC7 either by running the Command Center in verbose mode or manually running the installers or
- download and install the 64bit version of EZD.
I would recommend running the 64bit version of EZD.

Thank you Scook, A helpful and interesting reply: I've only ever downloaded a 'Demo' version of EZD , which, worked perfectly as a standalone , but, frustratingly, in MC6 I couldn't get it to 'register' in the VST management utility , I'm thinking now maybe it's a 32/64 bit conflict thing, I thought Id downloaded the version compatible with my OS...maybe I didn't.

I suspect that is EZD2. Regardless, make sure it installs the correct 32 or 64 bit version. In the case of MC6 it must be the 32bit version. The dll also needs to be in the scan path which is setup in MC6 Preferences > File > VST Settings and the VST scanner run to pick up the new plug-in.

It is EZD2, and yes, the dll followed the scan path as all my other VSTs , its clearly visible after i run the scan. I think maybe I downloaded a 32bit version of EZD2...and am running a 64bit Mc6.

I was under the impression MC6 is a 32bit application.

I can double check later when I'm home, but I believe MC7 ships as 32 or 64bit application and installs in the appropriate directory. EZD2 should work fine with MC7, and I have both on my system at home. I will try to check them out tonight. if I don't remember, send me a PM to remind me.
