Music Gear For Sale
I'm not sure where to put this, but here goes. I have a few pieces of audio gear that I'm planning to put up for sale on the Used Gear Marketplace at Sweetwater. I've already put up the listings, and I'm wondering who would like to buy these from me. The first of these machines is the Radikal Technologies Sac 2K Control Surface, which I'm planning to substitute with a brand-new Mackie Universal MCU Pro. I can't use the Sac 2K with Windows 7, as there are no USB drivers of that configuration. Also, it has a special USB cord, which unfortunately is wired backwards, so I'm afraid it might fry the ports on my desktop. The second one is the MOTU 896 HD, which I'm planning to substitute with the Focusrite Scarlet 18I20, simply because it will take up less space, and it also has the ability for me to connect my Fantom XR Hardware Synthesizer via a MIDI jack, which the MOTU 896HD doesn't have. Also, I'm planning to trade operating an interface via Firewire400 for operating via USB. The third is the MAudio O2, which I'm selling simply because I already have an Akai MPK25, which is easier for me to use, and it's completely blind-accessible. It doesn't appear to show in a search either, one other 896 shows up, but it is listed by a different person than the other 2.

There's a good chance that since I haven't posted any images to the one for the MOTU that it might not be working on your end. I did post images for the other two.
Does it have analog outputs? See, I have a Mackie Onyx mixer/interface with 16 inputs, but only 8 of those are mic-pre's. I need another 8 (without compromising with the limitations of ADAT), so if I can use the analog outputs of the MOTU (if it has them) then I can go line in on other 8 Mackie inputs and have a full 16 channel mic-pre interface. I was going to purchase a Tascam 16x08 to do the same thing, but I've heard good things about MOTU so...

The inputs are analog, as they are XLR and Quarter-Inch combo.

Annabelle, yes I asked about the XLR outputs being labeled "Balanced 24-Bit 192 kHz Analog". I don't know what physics we're even dealing with when analog is described in bits and sample rates.
Anyways, it's way too expensive for me to bother with. I won't be using any of the MOTU's AD conversion, or any of its digital connectivity - only its preamps and analog outputs. I'm not sure I need to spend a thousand dollars on this kind of solution.
Looks like a nice interface, hopefully you can get what you want out of it. Take care.
