Music creator6 control bar master volume

How can i get the master volume on the  cntrol bar to work again. Now it goes up but not volume stays the same.

    I just got MC 6.
    The volume slider on the control bar only works for audio. So if you have MIDI tracks playing through a hardware synth like a MIDI keyboard or MIDI sound module, it won't work.
    If you have MIDI playing through the standard MIDI synthesizer on almost all PCs, the Microsoft GS Wavetable synthesizer, it won't work.
    If you have MIDI tracks playing through a software synthesizer, it will work.
    And of course, it will work on for any audio track.
    You've probably discovered this by now.
    If it's not working for your audio tracks, maybe an email to Cakewalk Support is called for.
