MusicLab Real Guitars causing Sonar Platinum problems

I've been using MusicLabs Real guitars (RealGuitar, RealLPC, RealStrat) for several years with Sonar with not many problems.
But recently a major issue has occurred where Sonar Platinum crashes whenever I try to open one specific song file.
This file contains two Real guitars in it, RealGuitar and my recently purchased RealRick.
Prior to this problem, I had some issues after downloading RealRick.  I had to reinstall RealLPC and update the other Real guitars, because for some reason when I installed RealRick it cause one of the other Real guitars to stop working (in stand-alone mode)

So now, I have this song file that I can't open (I don't have a backup file), and I was wondering if there is any way I can get this file to work again.  I'm using all the latest versions and updates of both Sonar and the Real Guitars.  After the crash, Sonar will run a Debug session, but it stalls out when it can't find a file called SONAR.pdb, and doing a manual search couldn't find it.
So at this point I'm not sure what I can do to get this file to open.  It was a song that I put a lot of work into and was just ready to lay down vocal tracks for it.  (And yes, I know I should have made a backup, I usually do).  I also sent a Fault Reporter to Cakewalk.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

EDIT: Also, after I created and sent a Fault Report to Cakewalk, I click on the link that is supposed to take me to the report I just created, but when I get to the page it says I have no active reports.

Try running in safe mode. To run a project in safe mode hold the SHIFT key while starting the project.

Thank you, that worked.  I gotta remember that safe mode shortcut key.
I was able to open the project by not activating the Real VST plugins. So now I'll add them back, one at a time to see if I can figure out what's causing the problem.  But I'm now backing up the working file first!  Thanks again!
