Musicians Fiend is a Stupid deal.. my, my!

Opening the link I am automatically shown the Canadian price $118.07 
Going to the currant US /Can exchange rate calculation shows this should be $111.21 so there's a $7 rip off.
The exchange rate has been stable at around $.89 for a long time now. 
 
Now notice all the extra charges and are they calculated on the full price of 212.53,? This is not clear.

Shipping: CAD 18.22   ( this is 12 days Canada Post, all other methods were over $35.

 Duty:       CAD 5.99     ?? I would not be paying duty if I drove through the border with this item. I doubt if this money finds it way to Canada Revenue Services. 
 
 VAT (Tax):CAD 15.08   It is illegal not to show both Provincial sales tax and the GST what the heck is VAT??  I'm not in GB?  Any how using a BC sales tax calculator I get $14.17 on $118.07  Adding in any of the other costs does not compute either.
