You may have bout GAS tendencies. Keep a chart, see if it returns.

GAS is more expensive in the UK, I understand. Economists refer to this as "theBouy Effect".

Unless you are totally loyal to MF for some reason, you can usually call Sweetwater or a few others ... Zzsounds for example, and tell them if they match the coupon you'll buy it from them. Sometimes I'll get bold and ask them to beat it and it has worked on occasion. Sometimes they ask if it's in stock from the other place and won't do it which I don't understand? Just hang up, call back, and try to get someone else on the phone. ;) I was getting pricing on a Martin DC-28E ... just by making a couple of phone calls I was up to 20% off on a custom order left handed version in a hard shell case. They're all hurting right now and desperate to sell.

Thanks, I've always had good relations with Musician's Friend and done some good business over the years. I am mainly speaking of the fact that I am realizing that I have a place stuffed full of gear and pretty much just need the odd specialty item now and then. I get the sales info and my hunter gene kicks in and then after I browse the website I realize I'm all stocked up on stuff. If you need somewhere to store all those bits of specialty gear that you just don't have room for... I think I have room for a few U87s, maybe a V700 at a push (if I shift some other gear around, but anything to help)

Mike, does the parabolic dish around your neck help with audio? Do you get better frequency response? Maybe you should manufacture and sell that rig through MF. I can picture a bunch of guys in the control room with those collars on. It could be a money-maker.
