Mute/Solo All

Is there a way to mute all or solo all tracks? I can't find it in the manual. Thanks, Aric

Sure. In the Mix Module of the Control Bar click the M or S buttons. You can also set up a key binding to do same.

As noted above - in the Control Bar:

    Hope that helps.

Thanks!!! That just saved me a bunch of time. Pointing and clicking was just taking way to long. I just set up a key binding. Works like a charm. I knew I could count on the people in this forum. Aric

another way, particularly if you only want to mute/solo a certain group of tracks, is to left click on the track numbers and drag down . this will select all tracks you drag down n tio.

You will see the square where the track numbers are lit up if they are selected.

Also, you can click on a track number and then hold down coltroal and left click other ones yu want to select.

After you have all tracks you want to solo or mute, hold control and click the mute or solo on one of the tracks and it effects all the selected ones.

Holding control you can also effect all the tracks volume/pan, inputs, outputs etc. at the saem time

Another way to mute/solo associated tracks is to use track folders, then you can use the folders own Mute/Solo buttons, which is great if you just want to listen to drums, guitars, vocals etc
