Thanks for sharing those Jan.

Hey, did you notice that in some of those photos Bapu has a stupid face?  We could have had less of those and more of the Schecter girls, no?

My favorite;

Typical gratuitous use of scantily clad women to "sell" the product.

As well, the "over the hill" rock star noodling in the background.

When will the hype madness end?

McQ,

Santana? No, I was too enthralled by the Lilli Tomlin & Deborah Harry duet to even consider who the bloody musicians were.

Bapu met Craig Anderton and snubbed Alan Parsons (the wanker never mentioned RAM once in a thorough discussion of MIDI).

I didn't meet them.  They looked like they were busy getting ready.  The other guy was somebody, too--I can't remember his name.  He's the one that was getting ready to play and Albert showed up.  Albert was scheduled to play later on.  I didn't make it back for it though.

I would have loved to have attended that MIDI conference. Tom Oberheim, Dave Smith, Jordan Rudess -- and Alan Parsons? WTF did he ever do for MIDI? Ah, he was the visionary innovator who first made the connection between MIDI and RAM.

Mostly good photos, Jan. Not one picture of your shoes. No thumbs over the lens. I should be so competent. There was just one flaw in some of them...some tall grey-haired dude keeps popping up, a bass player most likely.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
