Well done.  I admire anyone who's willing to take a big challenge and do so well.  This shows an amazing amount of skill, and you are to be commended.

Ok this is interesting, it sounds really good.  There is a little too much verb for my likeing and it sounds a little a brittle, too much mids.  It's a little peircing.

The solo sounds like it's been noddled on, or it sounds like you haven't quite mastered it.  I like the Dave Gilmour vocal, it almost sounds like you have got a hold of his original recording.

    Nice Peace Ben

Nice job, cclarry.  You got the feel of the original while adding some originality to it.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot--hey, who the hell are you guys?

    Ben,

    Yes..I'm a "noddled" lead player...LOL   I agree..the mids are a bit heavy...and THANKS for the Gilmour Comment...wow...
He's also my second fav guitarist...next to Mr. Lifeson...as a friend once said to me...it's NOT how many notes you play...it's the
spaces in between the notes that makes it great...

Thanx Old55, ohgrant, and daryl1968...it's a labor of love...because I LOVE the Floyd...LOL  It still has some refinement to be done...as Ben pointed out...

I'm working on "Time" right now....should be done soon...I'll post soon...

Pinko Floyd is one of my favorite all time bands, as well as some of the off shoots.....

well done on the cover. doing a cover well requires skill in all the instruments to get it even close. I heard a few minor issues but nothing too major that would make me tune out.

    thumbs up on the cover.

I really like the solo that started at 4:30..... out to the end.... which was abrupt.... surely you could find a better way to end it.... slow it down to one huge chord at the end?

Vocals, especially in the chorus, sounded absolutely great. Dave Gilmour should hire you to gigs. :-) Pink Floyd is one of my Top 5 greatest bands ever but personally I have not had enough courage to record covers from them. Time is one of the Top 3 favorite songs and I look forward to hear your rendition. I hope you cover Shine On You Crazy Diamond, too...

Guitarhacker, Panup, and Bapu....as well as the others here...

THANX!  I follow and listen all of the music you guys do, and respect your opinions greatly!

I am honored by all these comments...being a "lone gun" it takes quite a bit of time to do these
things...as I have to work a real job too...LOL  I'm in the process of developing my "ear" before
I do my own songs...that's why I'm doing the covers first...

"Time" will be coming soon...it's almost done...

Now that you mention it...I just may have to do Shine On...and maybe Brain Damage...as
my brain is most assuredly damaged...LOL

    Thanks again guys!!
