My Doctor Appointment
I went to another specialist yesterday. The Doctor told me he believes he can restore 50% of my voice and mostly stop my choking when I swallow. I'm NOT getting my hopes up but at lease it's a positive report for an change

If it involves surgery, might be good idea to get a 2nd, 3rd, and even 4th opinion. From working in the medical field, I've noticed that surgeons tend to have some sort of a 'god complex', and think they can fix anything.....YMMV.

I'd kind of wonder what they meant by 50%! Half volume? Only half the range? Low pass or high pass filter? Would you have to live the rest of your life sounding like you've taken helium???
