My First CD Finally Out!
My First CD Finally Out! Hi, Guys, After more than three years and a ton of great input, help and advice from many of you fine folks, my first CD "Face The Fire" is finally finished and available at CD Baby, Amazon and iTunes! All done in Sonar, of course. Big thanks to all of you who took time to listen and comment on my song posts and offer input, observations and suggestions throughout the recording and mixing process! I even put a thank-you shout out to my Cakewalk forum friends in the liner notes. Thanks for everything guys and gals, you really are the best! Bob

As well as the gigantic one in his sig, Dave? oh - in my defense, Larry, I can't see it from work. a lot of pictures are blocked from our firewall. all I get from his signature area is an "X" placeholder. BTW - which Dave are you calling me? if it's bitflipper, I'm OK with that. ModBod? yeah, that's OK too. Daveny?

Well done Bob. Anyone reading this who doesn't know it yet IMO our Bob Oister is one of the best melodic rock singers I've ever heard. Period. Add this to the fact his tunes are all straight shooting and show off his sublime guitar chops this CD is going to be a worthy addition to any rockers collection. Of course those already familiar with Bob's stuff can only agree with me here. Not only that he's one of the nicest guys around these parts. WTG Bro!

Thanks so much, guys, I really appreciate it! jamesg1213: Thanks so much, James, you and Larry were some of the first people to welcome me here when I joined the forum, and your input and advice is indispensable. Thanks for everything! Beagle: Hi, Reece, Yes, sorry about that. I tried to edit my forum sig for the first time ever, and BAM!, I'm up against the famous "Over 455 character limit" PGD code error message, and can't even get my original text links working again. I'm hoping to figure it out and fix it up over the weekend. The banner picture link takes you to my website at www.BobOister.com which has links to everywhere else. The CD Baby Album Page is at www.cdbaby.com/boboister . Thanks! daryl1968: Thank you so much, Daryl, greatly appreciated, Sir! Jonbouy: Wow, Jon! Sincere, heartfelt thanks, that's one of the kindest compliments that I've ever received in all my years of playing! Now, if I could only learn to become a monster drummer like you, but I truly believe that really great drummers are born and not created, it just comes naturally to guys like yourself, automatically. Thanks so much, Jon for all your input and advice in the Songs forum, greatly appreciated, my friend! spacey: Hey, Michael, thanks very much! By the way, not only do you make amazing custom handcrafted guitars, like Steve's Ruby and Bapu's Custom bass, but the music on your Soundtrapper page is phenomenal. Tons of great stuff, I particularly love "Backwater Queen" and "Take Me Back" with Mark Wessels. Thanks, Michael! Old55: Hi, Jan, thank you so much, greatly appreciated, my friend! jamesg1213: Thanks again, James, greatly appreciated! ProjectM: Hi, Marius, thanks so much for checking it out, and for your kind words. I greatly appreciate it, my friend! digi2ns: Hey, Mike, thank you so much, greatly appreciated, buddy! bapu: Thank you so much, Ed, I'm truly honored that you picked it up, and many thanks for all your input and support on my posts up in the songs forum!
