That would be nice.  I'm sure we all have memories of stuff like that.  It's too bad the technology was still a little large and  too involved to record some casual practice or even a show without a lot of planning.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot--hey, who the hell are you guys?

Yeah, that was fun too.  I had an old Grundig with that green eye for a VU meter.  The challenge--and most of the effort--was about keeping the tapes organized so I didn't record over something I wanted to keep.

Man I feel for you. You were in a Poor Band in '73'

I'm so in awe of you. You were in a Pro band in '73.

In the 70's, my dad was an "educator".  Guys who left the top several buttons undone were one of his pet peeves.  I remember the time he used a stapler to staple one guy's shirt to his chest...

BB, are you feeling better yet?

come on Bill I'm itching to know where the photo was taken... it looks familiar.

:-)

West coast Washington near Lincoln City I think. On the coast ..been too long.

Just saw this...  Um, Lincoln City is in Oregon just south of Cannon Beach (I have a friend I visit who lives there).  Somewhat close to Washington though!   Astoria area perhaps?
