Thanks Mesh! I've never owned a steel string acoustic. This is my 1st one! It's a Taylor 516ce. I haven't learned anything on it yet. I was thinking about Windy and Warm or Trambone. It sounds marvelous!!!

Hi, Wait a minute ... wasn't he supposed to get his Mom a present, instead of himself?

Rimshot Nice guitar and collection Bill. How often to you play your Tele compared to the other electrics? Rimshot I actually use each guitar as a part of my daily playing routine. I do the physical stuff (warm-ups) on the taylor acoustic. That takes about 45 min. Then I go to each guitar for about an hour. Alverez Classical - right hand arp ex. then 2 or 3 repertoire songs like Spanish Serenade La Paloma Classical Gas etc arch top - to play 3 to 4 note chords on various progressions and walking bass comping. then solo jazz guitar like Joe Pass stuff Ibanez s5470 - for scale practice and tapping ex. sweep picking etc. Satriani/ Gambale Strat - vibrato ex. rhy ex such as shuffles style study like Hendrix/SRV segments Tele - for all country style playing. Thumbpick ala Brent Mason Johnny Hiland etc. open strings licks in different keys ( this guitar sounds GREAT!) Then to an instrumental solo song Taylor Acoustic - for fingerstyle playing ala Merle/Chet/ Tommy again segments then to solo guitar This week on the Taylor I'm working on an arrangement of Every Breath You take by the Police It takes about 8 hrs (and I do it 7 days a week) to complete playing on them all and after an ample ingestion of becan each morning I go to my room and start This is my world (with my dog) It is guitar heaven
