My New Singing Career and the New Sonar

I have good news and bad news.

Bad news:  Last night my singing gave someone a heart attack. The gentleman asked for a Stevie Ray song but no one knew the words. So I volunteered. After the song I was over I looked out into the crowd and the poor guy was laid out on the floor. Paramedics came. Fortunately he was OK.

Good news: The band leader gave me $20 extra dollars when I said " I want to keep that song in the play list". I could see the fear and disdain in his eyes when he said" let's just leave things as they are, Here's a 20".

The new Sonar -  Wha?

ps
I am learning songs for a new band actually, and old band I used to play with.
We are getting all the old members with the exception of the drummer, but a different song list, not country ...

I Am in a position that makes me more money per gig as long as the threat of me bellowing out tunes are present. I will persist as long as the tactic works!

Don't give Bill such a hard time about his new shrimp band.  I hear they're going to open for Cocktail Sauce soon.
