You can try contacting support. This is one of the issues they can resolve. They just won't be writing code to fix program bugs because that would be development, but fixing the program so that it shows "owned" instead of "demo" is within their purview.

Happened to me twice now and I'm still waiting for an answer from support. Short term...... I logged back into command center which had logged me out somehow. That worked for me.

Same thing here. I just logged into my command center account and the program then worked in its regular activated mode after a restart.

    From the FAQ:

    What about monthly payment plans?
We have officially closed our web store, and any monthly payment plans will be automatically discontinued. If you started a monthly plan within the last year, your statement will reflect either Cleverbridge or Digital River as the merchant. If you have trouble finding this information, or have any outstanding payment questions, please contact Cakewalk support. If you are on a rent-to-own plan and not have made 12 payments we have unlocked authorization so you can continue to use SONAR without interruption.

You really didn't leave that much information other than "My membership just went in to Demo mode".
Can you explain a little bit on your situation ?

    - Like when did you purchase Sonar ?
    - Obviously you were on a payment plan ?
    - Are you using Command center ?
    - Where did you purchase Sonar from ?

I am not sure any of this matters. Cakewalk has stated in the faq that all who had current memberships would be given owned status whether they had completed the years payments or not. If a restart/login doesn't work, Support is the answer.

Ya it's like the easiest way to deal with it is give people the licence even if they only payed for half or even less than half,  the rest of us had to pay full price, oh well.

everything you just stated above, you are assuming.

We don't know what kind of membership this guy has because he didn't tell us.
He didn't say he logged in and restarted either. Just gave thee ole "tried the suggestions".
    Support was already suggested in post #2. I figured he also tried that. So when he said;
"Thanks but omg what am I going to do now".  I figured I would try to help by asking those questions.
But I don't know, maybe your right... Maybe walking away and doing nothing is best.

    good luck

Could you please use only one thread for this, it's pretty confusing when you start multiple threads same topic,
Nobody here can help you as you have tried everything we know of. You will have to wait for an answer from support, which is going to be slow. Many have been through this and as far as I can tell Cakewalk will give you full ownership which is a heck of a deal so please don't complain. You will get for free what most of us paid in full for.

First Johnny V  .....There were multiple threads because I took the suggestion  of one of the helpful folks that answered and stated to post this in a different area because the moderators might be able to help.  If this was too much for you, you did not need to respond, just ignore it.  Second Johnny V   I payed 49 buck a month for twelve months so I am not sure what you are talking about free.  I thought this was a judgement free forum where a person could ask for help. So lets end this here but don't try to clap back unless you get your facts correct please and don't feel that your response is required.

Not for nothing but you keep repeating how you tried everyone's suggestions... Yet you have failed to answer questions I asked you THREE WEEKS AGO.

    - When did you purchase Sonar ?
    - Obviously you were on a payment plan ?
    - Are you using Command center ?
    - Where did you purchase Sonar from ?
    - How did you run Admin mode ?

    That's where my help ended.
I don't mind offering up my services to help you out but im not wasting my time.

Sorry your taking offence at what I say, never my intention. But there are 2 identical threads here this morning with the same questions and answers. I'm just handing out a fact. It's confusion to try and help someone who is running 2 identical threads.
And as Chuck has pointed out questions have gone unanswered. I'm I expected to read both threads to see if this is true?   So how I'm I to know you have paid up in full? My comment is that some folks paid for one month and Cakewalk gave them a full licence. Heck of a deal.
You will get your licence, you are taking to the wrong people,  we cannot grant you a licence. No point complaining here. These threads actually belong in the Cakewalk Store where they deal with payment and authorization issues.
Neil has stated over and over to be patient they are working as fast as they can to resolve all issue that resulted from the shutdown.

I am not sure how this might apply, but if you have tried everything else it might  be worth a try to see if your account will let you do an offline activation.
