    Into trance/house/dance now?

Yeah that is scary....  I like the way it evolves as it progresses.

Enjoyed all the sounds in this and perfectly setup for the season on the horizon. Evolved nicely for sure and held my attention.

The groove is good too although it felt a little off (out of time) at times, just me?

    Bobby,
Thanks for listening and commenting. I record with....you know.... instruments and mics and stuff.

    Herb,
Not sure what the beats are, I just finger-drummed it on my DR-880 drum machine and made it up as I went. Thanks for listening and I'm glad you liked my track!

    Cian,
Glad you liked it! I might not have had the right amount of caffiene that day so I could have hiccupped or hesitated on the drums here and there. Thanks for checking it out!

Nice one Scott a little touch of JMJ, definitely sets a mood.

This reminds me, I really need to get cracking on my 11' Christmas music! I can't listen on anything other than my lap top speakers :-( But on those? The drums seem to dominate the mix. It's such a poor quality though (my speaks) that I wouldn't put much stock in my opinion. You sure do grind out a lot of material.

Yep...the drums are the dominating factor for this track. It was intentional, as it was a debut of the DR-880 when I got it. It sounds better on bigger speaks with a sub though.

Cool! The second half reminded me of Trans-Siberian Orchestra  - but obviously more spooky and Hallowe'en like than Christmassy...

    Good job.

    Hey, Scott,

Very cool spooky sounding piece of music!

This would work really well as a movie or TV show soundtrack or opening theme.  Get on the phone with the producers of "Dexter" immediately!

Seriously though, nice job on this.  Isn't it cool when a simple test of a new instrument or piece of equipment inspires something that snowballs into a full production?

    Great work!

The cow bell seems a bit out of place for a scary song. Replace with something darker? Otherwise great track and production.
